How Flex IPT Works

The IPT lead is your single point of contact for the duration of your project. They will work with you to identify the scope of work and assign proper resources to each task. Regular peer reviews will be held between the IPT team and the engineering staff in your organization to streamline deliverables and goals. Along the process, the lead will create documentation and record areas for improvement. Internally, the lead will manage the project work split between the on-site and off-site resources. A project manager may be assigned to manage schedule and budget based on the team and project’s needs. While the Konrad’s off-site resources will work on tasks like developing software and system qualification protocol, the on-site resources will install the system, assist with the start-up, and train your staff. Weekly meeting cadence with your IPT lead will provide a complete overview of your project’s progress.

Fixed Rate – Konrad Technologies negotiates a fixed rate for each type of resource. Based on the anticipated scope of the project, your organization can set aside a specific budget. If additional resources are required to supplement the expanded project scope, the fixed rate will apply. This model works best the companies that have a set of specific requirements for a project with minimal anticipated changes.

Blended Rate – When the scope and needs of the project are hard to predict upfront, blended rate model provides you access to a team of Konrad’s engineers for an agreed period. Your organization can leverage as many resources and SMEs as needed, but the rate may vary based on how much time each resource spends on the project. This option offers an opportunity to lower costs with the offshore resources and uses 24-hour development cycle where time to deliver is critical. Blended rate model works best for projects like new product development when it is hard to predict the exact scope of work or anticipate changes
